Highlighted by the black and white checkerboard counter top is the kitchenette area.This area features a microwave, undercounter ice-maker and refrigerator, coffee maker and toaster. The knotty pine cabinetry was handcrafted by Keith Juhnke, Nancy’s brother.
Across the room from the appliances and cabinets is the dining area that utilizes a countertop with bar stools.This countertop is also highlighted with a patterned layout of black & white ceramic tile. Note the Holstein salt/pepper shakers, creamer, and sugar bowl.
Full view of the entrance/foyer area. The original concrete floor was polished and tinted a red color as seen here.The bulk milk tank was located in this area as well as being the cleanup area for all the milking utensils.
